WooCommerce Orphan Media Cleanup

What they needed

A large WooCommerce catalog (~15k products) was choking on storage/inodes from images left behind after product deletes. New uploads were failing.

What I delivered

• WordPress plugin “woo-image-cleanup” (Phase 1 Ghost Sweeper)
• Admin Tools page with safe-list IDs, AJAX scan preview, batched delete
• Guards for live product images, recent uploads, and explicit safe IDs

Why it helped

Disk and inode pressure drops so the shop can upload new product media again without guessing which files are safe to remove.
